Music

Freshman year of university, my friends and I started a band called Tavern. It’s grown from dorm-room jam sessions to playing on the Dillo Day (Northwestern music festival) mainstage and headlining our own concerts at local venues. I play primarily lead/rhythm guitar, and occasionally bass (for only a few shows). Like all good things, Tavern, too, must come to an end. With all of us graduating from Uni, the band is dissolving, but we step away with nothing but smiles on our faces.

Beyond live performance, I compose and digitally produce, mix, and master my own music. I’ve experimented with nearly every genre, but these days focus on electronic music primarily. Check out the music tab to listen —

Industry/Life Experience

WNUR Airplay - Executive Producer

Over the past 3 years, I’ve led the Airplay Studio, Northwestern’s student-run recording studio inspired by NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts. Acting as the co-executive producer, I planned and led recording sessions, created brand design, led post-production editing, and oversaw artist development.

A&O Productions – Production Coordinator

Alongside the Airplay Studio, I’ve spent 3 years producing professional-scale concerts with A&O Productions. I managed contract negotiations, venue logistics, and tech production for shows featuring artists like 070 Shake and Smino (highlight moment of hanging out with Smino after the show).

Starlight Music Label– Marketing & Creative Director

As a founding member of Northwestern’s first student-run music label, I’ve helped shape its culture and structure. I served as Marketing and Creative Director, designing the brand image, leading strategic campaigns, and producing live music events.

Coupe Studios – Marketing & Production Intern

Coupe Recording Studios operates as a creative agency, blending high-level audio production with innovative branding and marketing strategy. As a Marketing & Production Intern, I assisted in creative strategy and brand development through client-facing campaigns and content creation. I additionally contributed to music recording sessions with production and creative input.

Freeskier Magazine – Action Sports Photographer

In winter 2024, I shot the US Grand Prix Halfpipe Finals and X Games Street Style Pro Qualifiers as an action sports photographer for Freeskier Magazine. Capturing world-class skiers and snowboarders up close was a dream come true. — Thanks, Jordy, for the opportunity :)

Entrepreneurial Experience

Polo – Co-Founder, CMO, & CEO

As CEO and co-founder of Polo, a virtual marketplace for goods and services localized to specific college campuses, I’ve led a team of seven with strategy planning, effective delegation, and project management. I designed our brand image and logos, recruited a skilled development team through targeted interviews, led UI design using Figma, and spearheaded a comprehensive marketing campaign. Polo launched in February and has a growing user base expanding through Northwestern. My focus has bridged vision with execution to bring this platform to life.
